Volunteers are the heartbeat of every great community initiative — and this week, we had the privilege of celebrating ours.
Members of the Rotary Club of Rowville-Lysterfield were delighted to attend a special Volunteer and Supporters Appreciation Evening at the Boronia Bowls Club. The evening brought together the dedicated individuals whose time, energy and commitment have helped make Foothills such a meaningful and successful community initiative.
Over a relaxed dinner and a friendly (and occasionally competitive!) game of bowls, the focus was firmly on gratitude. It was a wonderful opportunity to pause, reflect, and acknowledge the collective effort that turns great ideas into real community impact.
We were especially proud to hear RCRL acknowledged for the support we have provided to help Foothills thrive. Partnerships like this are what Rotary is all about — people coming together to strengthen our local community.
Exciting News Ahead
The momentum continues, with the Hub restarting from Monday, and the Ferntree Gully gathering continuing on Wednesday evenings — ensuring even more opportunities for connection and support across our region.
To every volunteer and supporter: thank you. Your contribution matters. And together, we are making Foothills happen.
