2004 - 2005 President Warren Miller
• Water tanks installed at Rowville Secondary College • Sponsorship of a medical student in Colombo, Sri Lanka to finish her studies as she lost her entire family in the Boxing Day Tsunami, 2004 and hence lost her means of support. • Sponsored participants in RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award); RYPEN (Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment; MUNA (Model United Nations Assembly)
2005 - 2006 President Wendy Hateley
• Collected second-hand sporting equipment for schools in Fiji • Purchased Christmas gifts and distributed them to underprivileged children through the Salvation Army • Facilitated mock interviews at Rowville Secondary College
2006 - 2007 President Murray Wilson
• Money was raised for to supply 2 ‘Shelter Boxes’ after the Tsunamis affecting Solomon Islands and Indonesia • Stringybark Festival – Rotary Awareness Stall. The Community could have their blood pressure taken and blood tested for diabetes. • The Rotary Symbol Road signs were erected in Stud Road.
2007 - 2008 President Gary Forrest
• Club involved in Youth Exchange for the first time. Sponsored an inbound student from Denmark and an outbound student to Finland. Anne from Denmark participated in the Rotary Ride for Research and raised $1000 • Our Club was involved in the ‘Fix-Up Australia’ Project; a partnership between the Australian Rotary Districts and Mitre 10, identifying projects in their communities that needed fixing. • The Members delivered 12,500 Yellow Page Directories, raising $4000
2008 - 2009 President Naci Misirli
• $3600 raised to provide 3 ShelterBoxes directed to the fire victims from ‘Black Saturday’ • Sponsored Rowville Secondary College students for ‘Seimens Science Experience’ at Monash University, for the ‘Rotary National Youth Science Forum and for RYPEN
2009 - 2010 President Jeff Somers
• Farmers Market launched • Rotary Community Grants Program launched $10,000 donated to various Rowville Community Organizations • Financially supported Salvation Army, Rowville CFA and the ‘Save Water Saves Lives’ project
2010 - 2011 President Darren St Ledger
• Football jumpers presented to Lysterfield Wolves • Raised money for shoes for children affected by the Tsunami in Sri Lanka • District Club Strengthening Award
2011 - 2012 President Steve Macdonald
• Chartered Interact at Rowville Secondary College • Established Gary Mewburn Scholarship • Club hosted a Rotary Exchange student and sponsored a student to spend a year in Switzerland • Awarded RI Change-Maker Citation
2012 - 2013 President Daryl Moran
• District Recognition Award for ‘Business Breakfasts’ • Our partnership with SHEBA (Social Help Endeavour for Bangladesh) began – raising money to set up a basic medical unit in a remote under developed province in Bangladesh. In 5 months, over 7500 patients were treated at the unit. • Donated an electric scooter to a needy lady at Peppertree Retirement Village • Assisted with the Cluster Project to supply a Community Police car to Knox Police
2013 - 2014 President Neil White
• Obtained a grant from Knox City Council to hold a Cyber Safety Forum for the Community • Awarded RI Presidential Citation
2014 - 2015 President Carol Shaw
• Held a Mental Health Forum with Michael Carr Greig • Partnered with RAFT Church to set up a Men’s Shed for Youth • Beginning of the Kiriwina Island water & sanitation project • Awarded RI Presidential Citation • Awarded ‘Outstanding Rotary Club’ by District 9810
2015 - 2016 President Kevin Harrison
• Inaugural ‘Girls Night Out’ held, raising $3000 • Facilitated a ‘Domestic Violence Program’ in partnership with the Ferntree Gully Cricket Association • Our participant in the 4 way test Public Speaking Contest, Hannah Teo from Rowville Secondary College, went on to win the District Competition • Our first Container of hospital beds, medical supplies, furniture and books was packed and sent to Kiriwina Island.
2016 - 2017 President Heather Eddy Morris
• Jeff Somers was nominated and accepted as a Mentor for the Victoria Police Mentoring Program. Jeff mentored local Senior Sergeant, Gerry McKenna, exposing her to a variety of Community activities • Planning began for the establishment of the Satellite Club of Scoresby-Caribbean Gardens • Alan designed, took materials and built toilets for a school on Kiriwina Island • Alan designed and built a student desk for a school on Kiriwina Island. He then visited the island and taught the locals how to make the desks. • Awarded R I Presidential Citation
2017 - 2018 President Alan Lunghusen
• The Satellite Club was Chartered • Awarded District Outstanding Rotary Club Award • Awarded RI Presidential Citation
2018 - 2019 President Daryl Moran
• Our first visit to Backpacks for Vic Kids (B4VK) to help pack age appropriate backpacks for kids aged 0-18 years who have been removed from their home for safety reasons. • Began a partnership with Lysterfield PS, with some of our members attending the school as Reading mentors. • We supplied SHEBA with an ultrasound machine, an Xray machine and an ECG machine from Donations In Kind • Planning for the establishment of Knox Rotaract began • An Earlyact Club established at Lysterfield PS • Awarded RI Presidential Citation

2020 - 2021 President Marg Vesey
• Chartered Knox Rotaract • Achieved a grant to refurbish the Ferntree Gully Guide Hall kitchen so that Foothills Community Care can continue their work in feeding the homeless and needy people in our Community • Hybrid meetings began so that members who were still nervous about meeting face to face or if they were sick or away, could still connect to our meetings via Zoom. • Fortnightly Soup & Muffin deliveries to Foothills Community Care • Held a Trivia Fundraising Event via Zoom • Members attended a ‘Days For Girls’ sewing day • Club received an ‘Outstanding Club Award’ from District • Awarded RI Presidential Citation
2021 - 2022 President Murray Wilson
• Daryl inducted as District Governor • Our Club Coordinated the District Conference • Sold Christmas trees and raised over $10,000 • Refurbishment of the Container for B4VKs • Held an Environment Cocktail Night • We provided funding for 2 Ugandan Students to complete years 11 & 12. • Tree planting in the local area • Awarded RI Presidential Citation • Awarded District Outstanding Club Award
2022 - 2023 President Kevin Harrison
• Supporting Tamminya House – a refuge for Women • Helping build fencing so that goats can eat the noxious weeds that destroy local vegetation • Members participated in Knox Tree Planting Day • Partnered with Bayswater Club to run the Knox Art Show • Awarded RI Presidential Citation • Awarded District Club Building Award
2023 - 2024 President Carol Constantine
• Supported the Holland Festival, raising $4000 • Sponsorship gained from Community Bank, Wantirna for the Art Show, Knox Business Awards and Knox Nocturnals • Refurbishment of Container for B4VKs completed and operational. • Supported the End Trachoma Project by making & supplying hygiene kits to a remote school in the Northern Territory • Partnered with Melbourne Water, providing refreshments for the Tirhatuan Planting Day
2024 - 2025 President Jenny Moran
• Supporting Share Space Inc by providing meat vouchers and running a BBQ, with profits donated to Share Space • Completion of the Kiriwina Island PNG Toilet Maintenance Program, with the assistance of a District Grant • Continuing to support Foothills Community Care community meals with regular provision of home made muffins and soup • Upgrading garden and sand pit at Tamminya House family accommodation • Running monthly BBQs at Bunnings • Purchasing a new motor for a boat to be used on Kiriwina Island PNG to provide fish for the community and as a rescue craft, with assistance from a District Grant • Supporting Knox Nocturnals Youth Program with members on the Steering Committee and volunteers attending the sessions • Working with Rotary Club of Bayswater to organise the 50th Knox Art Show • Bringing the inaugural Knox Business Awards to a conclusion, with an Awards Breakfast to announce award winners • Planning and running the Berwick Antique and Collectible Fair • Sending two delegates to the 'Fit for Purpose' Rotary seminar in Sydney • Running the 22nd Business Breakfast, with Carolyn Cresswell as Guest Speaker
